Keighley Area Guide

The town of Keighley is situated around 11 miles north west of Bradford. It is a convenient commuting distance from Leeds and Bradford yet sits within a wild and wonderful landscape commonly known as Bronte Country.

Popular villages close to the town include Steeton, Oakworth, Oxenhope and Haworth. Whilst these villages are all part of the Keighley district, they each have their own distinct identity and strong communities.

A jewel in Keighley, Cliffe Castle is the former home of a wealthy industrialist which has been converted to a delightful museum with beautiful grounds for everyone to enjoy all year round.
