Another beautiful green space is the city's Spa Gardens which have been awarded Green Flag status by the Keep Britain Tidy organisation every year since 2001.
Ripon hosts some of the most exciting, prestigious and racing in beautiful picturesque surroundings. The season starting in April with 16 race meetings across the year, including the popular ladies day in June.
