With many local amenities, including a wide choice of shops, recreational facilities and nearby riverside/canal walks, Horsforth is a popular and convenient residential area.

Its a short drive into the centre of Leeds and the nearby ring road provides easy access to Yorkshire's key commercial centres with convenient motorway connections for onward journeys. Leeds Bradford International Airport is nearby at Yeadon.

Families living in Horsforth have a wide range of good state schools close at hand, as well as independent schools such as The Froebelian School, which is always ranked highly in The Sunday Times Top Independent Schools Listing, and Woodhouse Grove School in nearby Apperley Bridge.
