Zara previously spent four years at another multi-office Yorkshire based estate agent, where she worked as a sales negotiator, before moving into the firm’s operations and HR department. She brings a wealth of local knowledge to the role after growing up in the area, going to school at Bingley Grammar and she’s now in the process of moving into Saltaire.
Zara says: “Dacre, Son & Hartley is a longstanding firm with a solid reputation throughout the property industry, which made it a company that I always aspired to work at. Joining its Saltaire office is a great opportunity to work in a place that I know very well, across a wide area that also covers Shipley, Nab Wood and parts of north Bradford, encompassing all property types from apartments through to large family homes.
“The Victorian model village of Saltaire is as popular as ever with buyers. It’s an area that lots of first time buyers aspire to live in and many people are attracted by Salts Mill, its UNESCO World Heritage status and its fantastic rail links and amenities. As a result, the firm is keen to build on its property stock in and around Saltaire, and this will be a key focus for me over the coming months.”
Patrick McCutcheon, Head of Residential Sales, adds: “Saltaire is a thriving office that has enjoyed a great 12 months and Zara’s appointment will further strengthen the team as we continue to win an increasing amount of business throughout the surrounding areas. She brings plenty of experience and strong local knowledge to the role, which made her the ideal candidate for the position.”
