We are helping to support a wide range of local charities after buying a selection of Christmas trees that were displayed at Ilkley’s first ever Christmas Tree Festival.
The trees are now on display at four of our offices in Ilkley, Burley, Otley and Bramhope. Ilkley’s Christmas Tree Festival was held on the last weekend of November at St Margaret's Church. During the event more than 20 trees were on display that were all lit up and decorated creatively by local community groups or charities, against a backdrop of Christmas music from local musicians and singers.

All donations and money raised was shared by the organisations taking part, including Ilkley and District Good Neighbours, Purple Patch Arts, Rombalds District Girlguiding, Community Action Ilkley, Ilkley Amateur Operatic Society, Outside The Box, Nordoff Robbins, St Margaret’s Mothers’ Union Branch, Dementia Friendly Ilkley Action Group, LS29 Special Needs Support Group, Airedale & Wharfedale Autism Resource, Talk and Grow Ilkley, Dan’s Den, Friends of Ilkley Lido, Nell Bank, Ilkley INSIGHT Group, Wellness Mission, WI Bluebelles, Ilkley Candlelighters, Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and Marie Curie Helper Service.

The trees look fantastic and it’s a great way of supporting so many deserving charities and community groups at this special time of the year.”
