MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BY DACRES THANKS TO GENEROSITY OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Dacre, Son & Hartley has successfully collected hundreds of gifts for children, thanks to the generosity of the local communities and the firm’s 125-strong team that work across 19 North and West Yorkshire based offices. 

Dacres launched an appeal in October for donations of Christmas gifts for children as part of the Pulse 1 Mission Christmas, Cash For Kids campaign, collecting new and unwrapped gifts, so that more disadvantaged children can enjoy the magic of Christmas and have a present to open on Christmas Day. 

Pulse 1 Mission Christmas, Cash For Kids collects and distributes thousands of presents each year to children living in poverty, who would otherwise not receive a single present on Christmas Day. 

Jenni Howell, from Dacre, Son & Hartley, said: “We are so very thankful for the generosity shown by our own teams, our clients and people from the local communities around our offices who have all gone out of their way to buy and drop off presents with us. We have been blown away with the response and will be dropping off the gifts later this week. Christmas should be a special time for everyone, and every one of the donated gifts will make a difference to children and their families who might be struggling.” 

Pulse 1 Mission Christmas, Cash For Kids made sure that 16,656 children across West Yorkshire the Dales, Harrogate and York woke up to a gift last Christmas. Throughout the UK, the charity made sure 254,000 children received gifts in 2020.
