Our Skipton office has appointed experienced lettings manager, Aleysha Benn, to head up the lettings division during an extremely busy time for the market.
Aleysha has already successfully found tenants for a wide range of properties in her first few weeks in the role, ranging from smart terraced houses through to a large five-bedroom family home at West Marton, which all let within a matter of days. As a result, the Skipton office is keen to replenish its stocks of rental property across all price brackets, throughout Skipton and its surrounding towns and villages.
Aleysha brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent six years working for lettings agents in Leicester, Salisbury and Burnley. She also grew up locally and attended Craven College.
She says: “Joining Dacres is an opportunity to further my career in a familiar area with a highly reputable and longstanding firm. The company’s lettings division markets a vast range of properties and places a strong emphasis on providing an exceptional level of customer service, regardless of the property’s value, which separates it from many other agents in the market.
“It’s also a great time to make this move because the market is especially fierce at the moment, with the number of potential tenants who are currently looking from homes, massively outstripping the range of property currently available. There’s certainly no shortage of demand for high quality homes that are realistically priced.
“As a result, we’ve just let a smart three-bedroom cottage in Gargrave before it even went on the market. In addition, we secured three viewings for a five-bedroom family home at West Marton, priced at £1500 per calendar month, and all three wanted to move in. We now need to replenish our stock levels and would urge any landlords or empty property owners to contact us for a free, no obligation market appraisal.”
Jason Preston, who heads up the eight strong team in Skipton, says: “Our Skipton lettings division manages an extensive, property portfolio, worth tens of millions of pounds, that has grown rapidly in recent years. Aleysha’s industry experience and local knowledge will enable us to further enhance the level of service that we offer to both landlords and tenants, which made her the ideal candidate for this role.”
Aleysha will work with Emma Kerrywood, who has more than 20 years experience working in lettings and heads up the lettings division across our 21 offices.
We offer a ‘let only’ service and a ‘fully managed’ service, which deals with everything from rent collections to moving days. Anyone wanting further information should call the our Skipton office on 01756 701010 or the Settle office on 01729 823921 to arrange a free, no obligation market appraisal.
