We have invested in new software that will enhance the service our tenants receive.
Our residential lettings and property management division launched the market leading Fixflo system this month, allowing our tenants to report any maintenance issues quickly and easily online.
Emma Kerrywood, who is the head of the lettings division and has more than 20 years industry experience, has overseen the introduction of the system. She says: “We understand how busy people are and how frustrating it can be when things go wrong in their homes, so the Fixflo system is a great way for tenants to quickly report problems and receive ongoing updates on how and when the problem will be rectified.”
With a quick step repair reporting process, tenants simply select from a range of pictorial issues including heating and boiler, roof, hot water, lighting, windows, flooring, garden and much more. They then add any photos, insert their address and contact details and press send.
Emma adds: “Once the issue is logged it gets flagged with the relevant property manager who can instruct a contractor to attend. Having accurate information and pictures of any issues will allow us to be give more detail to the relevant company. We are really looking forward to working with Fixflo to improve the service that we offer to our tenants.
“Our business spans 21 offices operating across a huge area in West and North Yorkshire, and we currently manage a portfolio of well over 1,000 properties of all types and ages, so it’s essential that we have a reliable reporting system like Fixflo that’s accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
