Dacres has just won Feefo’s highest possible Platinum Trusted Service Award for the third year running for its exceptional customer service ratings and genuine reviews. Now every time a Dacres’ client submits a review, it will help fund a tree planting project.
Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacres, which is headquartered in Ilkley and has 20 offices across West and North Yorkshire said: “We typically get between 250 and 300 reviews a year, so to see this translate into that number of trees will be hugely rewarding for everyone involved! We are all keen to make sustainable choices and this new ‘Treefo’ initiative will have a hugely positive impact on our planet.”
Feefo has partnered with reputable climate solutions specialist, Ecologi, to deliver its tree-planting projects. Ecologi, in turn, works hand-in-hand with genuine project providers who are engaging with local communities to restore landscapes and ensure each seed is nurtured into a full-grown tree.

This is the latest green initiative that Dacre, Son & Hartley has embraced in recent years. In 2022 the company joined forces with a deciduous tree planting scheme in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, to offset carbon dioxide emissions that year.
Other initiatives include ensuring that all the electricity used throughout the company’s office network is certified as 100% renewable from wind, solar and hydro sources. The company has also moved to hybrid and electric vehicles within its office pool car fleet and started using ‘for sale’ boards made from recycled plastic across its North Craven, Ribblesdale and Lunesdale operational area.
