A former pupil of Skipton Girls' High School, Caroline went on to study at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle where she gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management. She started her career for an independent Estate Agency in West Yorkshire gaining a sound basis of practical experience. Career progression and a passion for the area in which she grew up moved her further in to the Dales, taking on the role of Sales Manager for Dacre, Son & Hartley in 2002.

Chris O'Mahony has a proven track record of sales success across the Nidd Valley, and has a reputation for efficient and honest marketing advice in the sale of all sorts of properties from first time buyer and holiday homes to land, farms and small estates. Experienced in rural and town properties and renowned for providing a personal service to sellers, Chris was named Best Property Newcomer in 2007 and has gone on to be promoted to manager of both the Ripon and Pateley Bridge offices. 

David Phillip is an Otley based Director who joined Dacres after leaving school in 1977. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor as an Associate in 1989 and progressed to become a Fellow in 1995. David, who has worked out of a number of the firm's offices over his many years with the company, specialises in residential sales and also provides advice to those looking to invest in 'buy to let' property.

Gemma Hayton has worked for Dacres since 2003, moving to Guiseley office in 2006. Gemma is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and has a post-graduate diploma in residential surveying. Gemma is delighted to provide in-depth advice to all who are looking to sell within the Guiseley area - what ever the size and style of property.

Area Director for the firm's four Aire valley offices and based in Keighley. Ian has over 28 years experience of estate agency in and around the Aire Valley with a wide knowledge of values and experience of all types of sales, from town terraces to traditional Pennine farms and country estates.

Ian Briggs is a Chartered Surveyor who has lived and worked within Ilkley and the LS29 district for over 35 years and has an exceptional insight and knowledge of the mid Wharfedale property market. Ian concentrates on the sale of residential property and also provides a range of professional valuation services including formal valuations for inheritance tax, trust, matrimonial and other legal purposes. Ian is extremely well known from his involvement in many organisations in Ilkley over the years and is the current President of the Rotary Club of Ilkley.

John Lightowler joined the firm in 2010 , manages our Boroughbridge Office and has operated in the  Ripon area and to the North West of York for over thirty years. John is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and National Association of Auctioneers and Valuers. Nick Alcock has worked for Dacre, Son & Hartley since the mid 1990s and took over the management of the Knaresborough office in 2000. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Property Valuation and Management. Nick is also the current President of the Harrogate & District Estate Agents Association. Having been born and bred in Harrogate, Nick was married at Allerton Castle in Knaresborough and now has two young daughters both whom attend the local Primary school.

Patrick started his career with the firm in 1985 and from the start took a keen interest in the diverse range of services that the firm has to offer. Now head of the company's residential operation, Patrick is based at the Head Office in Ilkley and provides sales and marketing advice across the whole price spectrum with specialist knowledge within the upper sectors. Married to Charlotte and with two children, Patrick is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents.

During a thirty year career in residential property Paul Baxter has been instrumental in thousands of successful house sales throughout Yorkshire. In his role as Area Director for Harrogate and the surrounding Nidd Valley offices, Paul is able to draw upon this huge experience to provide innovative sales and marketing solutions for his clients - what ever their property needs.

Peter Leadbeater joined Dacre Son & Hartley in 1999 as a Senior Branch Manager at Saltaire Office. Prior to that Peter had worked for various prestigious companies and thus developed extensive knowledge of the estate agency business. Presently based in the market town of Skipton, Peter undertakes the full breadth of residential agency and is also Managing Director of Dacre Son & Hartley Financial Services.

Richard is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and has built up a wide range of experience dealing with all types of properties in the Aire Valley and Bradford areas. He previously worked in Bradford City centre for a large corporate agent before bringing his wealth of knowledge to the firm.

Roger joined the firm in 1994 after gaining an honours degree in Estate Management at Newcastle. A Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Roger is a Senior Associate of the firm looking after Residential Sales and Lettings at the Otley and Guiseley branches.

Sandra joined Dacres in 1989 at the then newly opened Guiseley Office and then took over the reigns at our busy North Leeds operation at West Park. During her career Sandra has worked at a number of other branches, covering the north Leeds area along with the other "golden triangle" areas of Wetherby, Bramhope and Harrogate.

Simon joined Dacres as Branch Manager of the firm's Harrogate Office in the spring of 2011, following a dynamic career with a well known corporate estate agent. Local boy Simon attended Harrogate Grammar School, has a Degree in Property Studies and is also a Fellow of the NAEA. He has worked in and around the Harrogate area since 2002 and has also played rugby at Harrogate RUFC.

Steven has developed a wealth of experience since joining DS&H in the mid '90s and has worked at our Keighley & Saltaire offices before moving to Bingley in 2007. A Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents Steven has also attained a Diploma in Residential Estate Agency, studying at The University of Reading College of Estates Management .

Tim Usherwood is a Senior Associate at Dacre Son & Hartley, having around two decades experience with the firm. Since 2000 Tim has been the Manager of the bustling Skipton Branch. Overseeing residential sales and rentals in Craven and the Yorkshire Dales, Tim has a vast amount of knowledge, handling all manner of property from traditional Dales cottages to smallholdings, farms and estates. He is married to Emma and has a baby daughter, Lucy.

Trevor Graveson FNAEA FNAVA, has almost forty years experience in the Settle market having started his early career as a Civil Engineer. He previously worked for Richard Turner & Son before setting up his own business in the town.
