Skipton, a bustling market town, just over 14 miles away, has a wide sweeping high street, from where you can tour the amazing Norman castle or take a soothing trip along the canal. Shorter outings from Kettlewell also cover the unsung delights of the National Trust's Braithwaite Hall and English Heritage's Middleham Castle, as well as the splendours of Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove. For day-trips, the beauties of Wensleydale and the historic spa towns of Ilkley and Harrogate are within easy reach.
Enter Kettlewell from Kilnsey, continue over the hump back bridge bear left before the Bluebell Inn and turn immediately right up Far Lane. Just before the sharp right hand bend, Cam Cottage will be seen at the top of Westgate on the left.
