THREE SIZZLING SUMMER EVENTS FOR BURLEY

Dacre, Son & Hartley is sponsoring three key events in Burley in Wharfedale over the summer months that all promise to be major dates in the village’s annual calendar.
On Sunday 9th June we are sponsoring the bouncy castle at Burley in Wharfedale’s Party in the Park, which will be hosted by Salem Church and Burley Guides and takes place in Grange Park from 12noon to 4pm. This year there will be ponies, birds of prey, games, face painting, food and drink as well as entertainment from local dance, singing and theatre groups.
Less than two weeks later, we are sponsoring Burley Oaks Primary School’s annual Summer Fair on Saturday 22nd June from 1.30pm. The event will offer games, stalls and refreshments, and this year there will even be a circus to entertain visitors. 
Finally, Dacres is sponsoring the ever-popular Scarecrow Trail at the eleventh Burley Summer Festival, which will run from 17th to 24th August. The company’s boards will be displayed in every garden with a scarecrow and this year’s theme is heroes and villains.

These latest events follow Dacres sponsoring the girls’ kits and training tops at Burley Trojans Juniors Football Club earlier this year. The club has recently successfully launched a new under 10s team and is now encouraging girls of all ages and abilities to hone their skills at the club.
