Work is nearing completion on an exclusive new homes development, consisting of just four spacious, detached houses, in rural surroundings in the Craven village of Kildwick.

The development, known as Grange Croft, is being marketed by Dacre, Son & Hartley’s Ilkley office and has been developed by local company, Croft Building. Work on the homes will complete later this summer.

The stone-built houses offer between four and six bedrooms, generous open plan living space, large woodland gardens and southerly views over the Aire Valley, as well as 10-year NHBC warranties.

The homes will feature stunning kitchens with oak breakfast bars, silestone worktops, Neff ovens and induction hobs, a full range of integrated appliances, wine coolers and Quooker boiling water taps. In addition, all the bath and shower rooms are being fully tiled by Lapicida and will include Villeroy & Boch white sanitary ware and handsgrohe showers and taps.

There will also be underfloor heating to the ground floors, stylish glazed oak framed breakfast areas with bi-fold doors leading to the private landscaped gardens, softwood double-glazed windows, integral garages and fast fibre broadband.

Paul Wilson, a director at Dacre, Son & Hartley, said: “Grange Croft occupies a beautiful, elevated site in the historic village of Kildwick, above a pretty stretch of the Leeds-Liverpool canal. The four homes are all being finished to an exceptional standard and will offer families spacious and luxurious living accommodation in a picturesque and leafy location.

“The delightful village is just five miles from Skipton, nine miles from Ilkley and is well placed for daily commuting to Leeds and Bradford. There is a local primary school and the White Lion public house in the village and the town of Cross Hill is just over a mile away, which offers a selection of shops and restaurants, a tennis club, health centre and South Craven Secondary School, which will all appeal to families looking for a standout home in a great location.”
