Since Dacre, Son & Hartley re-opened its doors in Saltaire at the end of May, the estate agent has recorded reassuring results, with several sales already secured for clients indicating that the housing market is holding up well.

We achieved over the asking price for a property on Wensley Avenue, we also secured the asking price for a property on Nab Wood Terrace and 99% of the asking price for a property we marketed on Claremont Road.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has of course impacted the property market, but unlike the last market jolt in 2007/08, mortgage funding remains readily available which is helping the liquidity of the marketplace and supporting buyer confidence. 

“The pent up demand from the thousands of people visiting our website during lockdown, is now translating into successful sales and lets and we are now in a position in Saltaire, where we are actively seeking new instructions in order satisfy the demand across all price points.”
