Our Knaresborough office has brought over 20 new properties onto the market in the last four weeks alone – making it the busiest October and start to November ever recorded.

The branch has listed a superb new bungalow on the popular Abbey Road in the heart of Knaresborough, as well as plenty of village properties in the likes of Goldsborough, Marton Cum Grafton and Arkendale. Every property type from bungalows to large detached homes and development plots have all hit the market with the High Street based firm.

Senior Associate Nick Alcock, who is the branch manager at the office, said: “Autumn is often a busy time, but this level of activity is unmatched since I took the office over 17 years ago. As well as bringing so many new properties onto the market we have also completed 13 sales subject to contract in the last four weeks, with a further 6 currently under offer, including successfully selling one property for over £1m in just three weeks.”

One large family home recently brought onto the market is Ainsty Court, in the sought-after Aspin Lane area of Knaresborough, close to excellent primary and secondary schools. This four/five bedroom detached property is on the market for £650,000. It has four reception rooms and is set in 0.31 acres of delightful private gardens. Nick said: “Due to the size of this plot there is also the potential to develop another home within the grounds, subject to the usual planning consents.”

Another substantial house for sale with Dacres Knaresborough, is 7 York Road. A most attractive five bedroom semi-detached family home with plenty of style and characterful features, the property is on the market for £550,000 and has been refurbished to the highest standard with stand-out kitchen and beautiful bathrooms.

The recent raft of instructions include five bungalows from across Knaresborough – all of which have plenty of appeal. The most recent bungalow brought onto the market is a particularly spacious four bedroom home on Abbey Road which is on the market for £595,000. Set within large private gardens and with a double garage and timber studio, this property enjoys a superb spot in this prime residential location. Nick added: “It’s nice to see such a wide variety of properties coming onto the market and with many buyers on our database who are currently renting or in a position to make a move quickly, we are confident we can generate plenty of interest for all of these new instructions.”
