Ben, who lives in Bingley, joined Dacres almost four years ago. This summer he completed the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management qualification, successfully passing all four of the programme’s exams. The qualification is a key requirement for membership of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) Propertymark.
In his new role, Ben will manage our rental portfolio, consisting of smart apartments through to large family homes, throughout Bingley and the surrounding villages of Eldwick, Cottingley, Cullingworth, Wilsden and Harden. In addition, he will also liaise with landlords, manage properties and help to grow the lettings team across our offices in Baildon and Saltaire.
Ben says: “Passing my NFoPP exams and being promoted is great news and especially at a time when the rentals market is booming in this part of the Aire Valley. Tenant demand is outstripping supply and we have people registered with us waiting for all types of property to hit the market. As a result we’re particularly keen to expand our property portfolio further, and are actively targeting landlords and property owners because in many cases we could generate an income for them immediately, and this will be a big focus for me over the coming months.”
