A letting agent with 20 years industry experience has been appointed by Dacres.

Donna Fryer joins from Harrogate-based Hopkinsons and has also worked for a number of well-known Yorkshire agents covering the northern region. 

In her new role as lettings manager, Donna will be based at the firm’s Ripon office covering Ripon, Pateley Bridge, Thirsk and all their surrounding villages. Donna’s appointment follows another recent lettings appointment for the Skipton and Keighley area and takes the thriving lettings team at Dacres to 19. 

Donna, who is from Harrogate, said: “I have all of the relevant experience needed to deliver great service and advice on everything from the latest legislation changes to property management and in depth local market knowledge. I’m excited to be joining Dacres and look forward to the new challenges ahead. I was attracted to the Dacres as it’s such a well-respected and professional firm that offers great career prospects, I will be working closely with Harrogate lettings manager, Sophie Tillisch and our property manager, Bev Dooler.

“Ripon, Harrogate and the surrounding areas are popular places to rent, with families often attracted to the excellent schools, and plenty of professionals are keen to live here because of the job prospects and easy transport links to key cities in the north.  Often operating in somewhat of a bubble, there is always significant demand for quality rental property in the area and I’m looking forward to helping both landlords and tenants with all of their property requirements.” 
Emma Kerrywood heads up Dacre, Son & Hartley’s lettings division across the firm’s 20 offices. She said: “Donna is well-known in the market for her proactive approach and is a dynamic property professional who will be a great asset to our business.” 
We offer landlords a ‘let only’ service through to a ‘fully managed’ service which includes sourcing tenants, compiling contracts, collection of rent and property inspections. Covering a vast geographical range from its 20 offices, it is currently marketing properties to let that range in price from £450 to £3,500 per calendar month.
