NEW NIDDERDALE HOMES ARE NATURAL BEAUTIES

An exclusive new homes development in the centre of Pateley Bridge that surpasses everything else that has been built in Nidderdale’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in recent years, in terms of specification and finish, are now ready to move straight into.

The bespoke development of just three, four bedroom houses, known as Skaife Row, stands at the top of Pateley Bridge’s celebrated High Street, and the first home has now been released for sale for £350,000, with leading local estate agent, Dacre, Son & Hartley.

Skaife Row has been built by renowned local building contractor, HG1 Ltd, for respected developer, Mr Mike Bower, who lives nearby. The homes are built using reclaimed stone from a former mill, that matches the traditional stone buildings found across Nidderdale, and feature structural timber panel frames, with hardwood double glazed casement windows, so they are fully sealed and therefore highly energy efficient. The latest mechanical ventilation system ensures fresh, clean air circulation throughout the homes.

The homes also boast underfloor heating, stone floors in certain areas and the latest Laura Ashley Collection kitchens with Siemens appliances, as well as luxurious Burlington bathroom suites. The homes are approached by a private driveway and each one has parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point.

Alison Reilly, from Dacre, Son & Hartley, said: “The quality and finish at Skaife Row is exceptional and there hasn’t been any other new build developments that meet this standard and specification built in the area for a long time.

“As a result, there is already lots of interest from people looking for a stunning house in the centre of Pateley Bridge. We’re also receiving enquiries from people wanting an idyllic holiday home with lots of amenities on the doorstep as well as being within easy reach of The Yorkshire Dales, as well as Harrogate and Ripon.

“The first home to be released is very realistically priced at £350,000 and we’re now booking viewings which will be the first opportunity for buyers to experience the quality and attention to detail for themselves.”

Developer, Mike Bower, added: “We’re immensely proud of what we’ve achieved at Skaife Row. Because it’s a small-scale development, the focus has always been on the specification and finish, rather than numbers on a spreadsheet. As a Nidderdale resident, it was important to create something special and the feedback we’re receiving from the people of Pateley Bridge has been exceptional.

“Crucially, the homes all offer a very flexible layout, meaning the top floor ensuite fourth bedroom, could make fantastic home offices, which are highly sought after with more people working from home. However, equally Pateley Bridge offers easy access to Harrogate and Leeds, as well as neighbouring towns and cities, so these homes will be ideal for people who want to return home from work to an idyllic, rural and very picturesque location.”

Earlier this summer all the homes at Skaife Row were blessed by local Minister, Rev. Mike Poole from the neighbouring Methodist Church.

Pateley Bridge has won several prestigious accolades in recent years, which include being listed in The Sunday Times' Best Places to Live league table and winning a Great British High Street award.
