Dacre, Son & Hartley has been named as the area’s top selling estate agent, having achieved almost 25% of all property sales in the HG5 postcode area over the last year.

The data from property portal, Rightmove, sees Dacre, Son & Hartley in Knaresborough continue to maintain its title as the most successful estate agent in the area. 
The firm, which progressed sales totalling more than £6.75m during June alone, sold 119 properties from 30th July 2020 to the 28th July 2021.  

Nick Alcock, senior associate at Dacre, Son & Hartley in Knaresborough, said: “On average over the past three months we have achieved 99.92% of the guide price, and in May and June, that figure rose to over 100% of the guide price, which shows in the high levels of demand for property in the local area.  Over the past two months 50% of properties have been sold for in excess of their guide price, with multiple buyers competing for the same property.”
