A successful local estate agent has been promoted to branch manager, following three years at Dacre, Son & Hartley in Ripon. Ben Buckley will now manage the firm’s thriving Pateley Bridge office, assuming his role during the company’s two hundredth anniversary year.

Ben helped the Ripon branch become the top performing estate agency in the City and will now work in Pateley with lettings manager Donna Fryer, and experienced senior sales negotiator Alison Reilly, who has been with Dacres for 17 years.

Dacres has been a part of the fabric of the small market town for many years and is a vibrant member of the community, sponsoring and supporting numerous local events and initiatives. Dacre, Son & Hartley is already well established as the top performing agent in Pateley Bridge and this appointment is set to further enhance that standing, with a local property professional embedded within the town.

Ben said: “From the high street office our team successfully sells and lets a range of homes. We are currently marketing properties from £115,000 to over £800,000 and have everything from two bedroom apartments through to large farm houses for sale. With a marketing reach spanning Summerbridge, Ramsgill, Glasshouses, Dacre, Greenhow, Darley and beyond, we have the local knowledge and experience to deliver a really great service to buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.

“The market in Pateley Bridge has really taken off in 2020, with plenty of new instructions, good offers and lots of buyers looking for their ideal home. We have recently sold every home within the first phase of Church View at Dacres Banks, and will be launching the second phase of this popular new homes development soon. We are also marketing five fantastic new apartments within the recently refurbished Nydsley Hall and will be selling three more new build homes on the high street in the next few months.”

Dacre, Son & Hartley’s area director Paul Baxter, said: “Ben has plenty of sales experience, a keen interest in property, as well as sound knowledge of the local property market. With a proven-track record for delivering on his promises to our much-valued customers, he will help to continue growing our market share in this popular part of North Yorkshire. Our offices in Harrogate town centre also provide a prominent shop window for our Nidderdale clients.”
