DEVELOPER WINS TOP AWARD AND LAUNCHES TWO DEVELOPMENTS
Andrew Snell, of Snell Developments, was one of 450 site managers selected from more than 11,000, in this year’s National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job awards, which is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
This year’s award is in recognition of Andrew’s work building nine homes in the village of Embsay, known as Laurel Croft, which is already sold out. It’s the third time in four years that Andrew has won the award, which rewards site managers for consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
One of the new homes developments is Cobbydale Way in Silsden, which will consist of 10, three and four bedroom detached houses. Construction is underway and the homes will complete between March 2021 and Summer 2022.
At the second new development, work is underway on three, four bedroom detached homes in Glusburn, known as Lumb Mill Farm. The homes are close to open countryside, and the market town of Skipton is approximately five miles away. Work on the homes is due to complete in March 2021.
Andrew said: “Winning this award is a big endorsement for our work and the overall quality of our homes at Laurel Croft, which proved extremely popular. We’re now looking forward to replicating this success at both Cobbydale Way and Lumb Mill Farm, which will both be built to the exacting standards that we are renowned for.”
Mark Kane, from Dacre, Son & Hartley’s Skipton office, said: “In recent years Dacre, Son & Hartley has successfully marketed a wide range of new homes developments throughout the local area on behalf of Snell Developments. The company has a superb reputation for incorporating an exceptional specification and finish into all its homes, which always prove popular with buyers.
“This will certainly be the case at both Cobbydale Way and Lumb Mill Farm, with both developments offering an exclusive selection of well designed, high quality homes that will be finished to an impeccable standard, along with landscaped gardens and garages, in popular locations. Both developments are available to reserve off-plan now and we’re already generating interest from potential buyers.”
