The office, which has been based in Settle for 16 years and operates from the High Street, is helping sponsor the local swimming pool until next summer.
Settle Swimming Pool is a registered charity and the pool is managed by a committee of local people who volunteer their time to run the popular facility.
Rosie Sanderson, from the committee, says: “We provide a safe place for children and adults to swim and aim to help look after their well-being by providing a high quality environment for everyone to enjoy. As a registered charity, fundraising and donations are vital to our success, especially because all funding from Craven District Council ceased last year, leaving a hole of more than £30,000.”
As a result, the committee launched the business sponsorship boards giving companies the chance to advertise whilst also supporting the community pool.
Senior associate, and Settle branch manager, Jason Preston, says: “The pool opened in 1974 and has always been run by local volunteers, which is very admirable. It’s a nice pool with classes for young and old, plenty of free parking and it plays a really important role within our community. We were keen to support the great work of everyone involved, who give up their time to make sure the entire community benefits from having a local swimming pool, which is a fantastic asset for Settle.”
