Dacres will be a key sponsor for the second year running at this year’s Ilkley Cycle Races, which take place on Wednesday 27th June.
The event is hosted by Ilkley Cycling Club and runs from approximately 6pm until 10pm. It includes under 14s, under 16s, women's and men's races.
Dacres will have its logos displayed in the event programme as well as banners positioned around the 1.5 km circuit which starts outside Bettys Café Tea Rooms on The Grove. From there, competitors climb up Riddings Road before turning right along Albany Walk onto Parish Gyll Drive and then dropping down Wilton Road and taking the fast corner back onto Grove Road.
Paul Wilson, Director, said: “This is a superb event that’s growing every year and it now attracts thousands of spectators who line the course, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The racing is fast-paced and highly competitive which makes it exciting to watch and there’s also entertainment, as well as a bar and barbeque on The Grove, so there’s something for everyone, and it’s a great event for us to be involved with.”
