We have entered the annual ‘St John’s Christmas Tree Festival’, where more than 100 local businesses, families, schools and clubs have created beautifully decorated trees that are put on display at St John’s parish church in Knaresborough.
The team from the Knaresborough branch have called their entry ‘the key to your new home’, and it is on display now until the 9th December.
Senior Sales Negotiator, Gail Foster, said: “We have decorated our tree with lots of branded key rings and it’s just one of many marvellous trees that are part of the ever-popular sensational festival.”
All monies from the ‘St John's Christmas Tree Festival’ will go to St John’s Church, ORB Community Arts in Knaresborough and New Life Ghana – build a school project for the village of Honi.
There will be a programme of events including music, an advent carol service, a concert by children from The Forest School and a Christmas concert alongside seasonal refreshments, a raffle and Santa will be visiting on Saturday when the winning entry into the competition will be announced.
