We have expanded our office network creating new jobs and investing £50,000 in a new branch in Elland.
The new fully refurbished office is in a prominent position on Victoria Road, and is headed up by Philip Garnett, who has worked at Dacres in Bingley, Keighley and Ilkley for the past two years. Philip previously spent 11 years in the public sector.
Born and bred in Elland, Philip, whose family owned and ran a textile mill for six generations, has always had a keen interest in property. He says: “It’s been a long-standing ambition to run a property business, and this opportunity with Dacres, which is such a solid Yorkshire brand, was simply too good to miss.”
Philip is joined in the state-of-the-art office by local sales negotiator Sarah Chilvers, who has more than 10 years of experience working for a number of other estate agents in West Yorkshire.
Philip adds: “Sarah was the ideal choice to work alongside me as we launch in Elland. Her experience within the local area is excellent and we now have a great platform to successfully market properties across all the towns and villages surrounding Huddersfield and Halifax. Sarah has been selling homes in the area for more than 10 years and is well-known and respected in the market, so we will be able to hit the ground running.

The new branch will initially specialise in residential sales, before expanding into lettings, and clients will also be able to take advantage of our surveying and financial services offerings.
