Partnering with technology provider Bamboo Auctions, the new sales route offers all the advantages of a conventional auction with competitive bidding, pre-prepared legal packs and greater certainty of sale; but the facility is available online allowing bidders the potential to make offers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until the digital hammer falls. 

Auction properties still benefit from all our extensive marketing expertise and sales collateral which includes high quality photography and bespoke sales brochures, as well as promotion via the company’s extensive mailing list and far-reaching advertising via social media channels. In addition, all properties appear on Dacre, Son & Hartley’s website, which attracts around 70,000 visitors each month, as well as all the main national portals including Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market and Primelocation.

This new service is specifically designed to make it quick, easy and straightforward to list and sell properties and vendors don’t have to wait to join other sellers in a collective auction catalogue. 
Buying and selling a property through this method provides each party with an additional degree of certainty, because once the auction ends, both the buyer and seller are legally bound to proceed with the transaction, in accordance with the published terms and conditions.

It is therefore important that buyers understand that they must have a mortgage, or have funding in place, as well as arranging for a solicitor or qualified conveyancer to fully review the property’s legal pack, before bidding.
