Two experienced Chartered Surveyors have been appointed by Yorkshire’s largest firm of independent surveyors and estate agents.
Nathan Smith and Jon Egan have joined our survey department, which provides a full range of surveys and professional valuations on all sorts of residential properties throughout Yorkshire.
Nathan is a Chartered surveyor who trained at Sheffield University before working in Leeds and London, and has recently returned to his roots in Scarborough. He will be responsible for professional valuations and surveys on the Yorkshire Coast, from Whitby to Bridlington, extending into Ryedale and parts of East Yorkshire.
Director and senior surveyor, James Wattrus said: “In addition to Nathan’s wide range of experience, he also has excellent and developing practical knowledge, as he is in the middle of extending and restoring his house in Scarborough. We are delighted that he has joined us and are confident that he will continue to develop our business in these parts of Yorkshire, which is a big growth area for us in recent times.”
Jon is also a Chartered Surveyor, and joined the survey team earlier this year to provide professional valuations between Northallerton, Darlington and into Cleveland. Jon, who is from Knaresborough, trained at Sheffield University and worked in Leeds before working as a valuer in Australia for five years.
James added: “Jon has a great track record and has settled exceptionally well on his return to the UK, he is currently developing his skills on our internal training programme, along with three trainees. Jon’s commitment to customer service, and experience of working abroad will be extremely useful for the ongoing development of the department and its services.”
Our survey department provides a full range of valuations and surveys on residential properties over much of Yorkshire for a wide number purposes including mortgage valuations, tax, probate, matrimonial and expert witness reports, plus a full range of surveys.
The department has an extensive and growing client base including major lenders, other professionals, business partners and private individuals. It continues to expand its coverage throughout Yorkshire; it is constantly looking to add to its team of surveyors.
