Visitors to this year’s Otley Show entered a competition hosted by Dacres, to win vouchers for renowned local restaurant Buon Apps River Lounge and Italian Restaurant.
Otley resident Mrs Helen Johnson won first prize and was presented with a £75 Buon Apps voucher. Another £25 voucher was won by Mrs Adele Haye from Wakefield. Both had entered a free prize draw on our exhibition stand.
The longstanding Otley office was a key exhibitor at Otley Show, which took place on Saturday 19th May. This year’s event was the 209th Otley Show, making it the UK’s oldest one day agricultural show, and the annual event was deemed a huge success, attracting thousands of visitors.
There were 2,490 entries in total across the show’s competitive classes, up from 2,289 last year and main ring entertainment included Joseph’s Amazing Racing Camels, as well as the Ben Potter birds of prey display and a flyball demonstration by Wharfedale Woofs. In addition, there were dancing sheep, a show jumping competition, musical performances and a vintage car and tractor exhibition.

Our exhibition stand was very popular, with many existing clients as well as lots of potential new ones, stopping to chat and entering our competition, and we’re delighted to present Helen and Adele with their prizes.”
