Director John Shaw FRICS heads the department, supported by a team of experienced, specialist new homes negotiators and support staff. The service is tailored to the requirements of house builders and developers which are often very different to those of the private individual. We regularly give sales and marketing advice to clients considering a huge variety of schemes; from single plots to large ‘brown field’ sites and conversions. Dacres are one of the few Yorkshire agencies that can bring comprehensive support through our specialist Planning and Development departments.
Marketing is comprehensive and designed to specifically meet the clients' needs. Bespoke brochures and other marketing material is available and supported by widespread internet listings on the UK’s leading web portals - including our own award winning site. SMS alerts, email alerts and on-line guides all help promote our clients’ schemes. Coordinated newspaper advertising is placed in a variety of media - local and regional, together with adverts in our own full colour Property Guide magazine. Properties are matched to our substantial nationwide applicant database and networked agency system to ensure that all matching buyers are aware of the new homes available.
Some of our clients' developments have on site negotiators in show homes, whilst others are available to view by appointment. Each client receives a weekly activity report covering visitors and enquiry levels, viewing follow up, offers and negotiations, new sales agreed, progress on pipeline sales, contracts exchanged and completions. The target is usually to exchange contracts within 28 days of a reservation.
We are able to assist with related sales and part exchanges via our branch offices and throughout the UK through our affiliation with a national relocation company.
