LETTINGS FIGURES SOAR AT DACRE SON & HARTLEY

Yorkshire’s leading firm of independent estate agents, Dacre Son & Hartley, has appointed Lisa Hallett as residential lettings manager at its Bingley office in a direct response to an increase in activity across its lettings division.

Lisa, who has over 15 years experience in the property industry, will be responsible for the letting and management of over 200 properties in Bingley and the surrounding areas. She says: “I’m delighted to be working for Dacres as they are such a respected agent with an extremely strong lettings division.”

Lisa’s responsibilities will include the initial appraisal of properties to rent, preparing marketing particulars and sourcing tenants. She will also accompany viewings, reference suitable applicants and prepare and sign off tenancy agreements.

The lettings division has seen a 50% rise in activity over the last three months compared to 2008. Peter Leadbeater, Director in Bingley says: “We have had an extremely encouraging few months letting a real cross section of homes ranging from 1 bedroom apartments at £350 per calendar month to detached houses at £1,800pcm in Bingley and surrounding areas of Shipley, Baildon, Harden, Heaton and Denholme.

“There are plenty of tenants in the market including young people moving out of home to those who are between house moves as well as those who have cashed in on their equity and want to stay flexible and rent. Business is brisk and Lisa’s appointment will allow us to add to the excellent service we provide to tenants and landlords alike,” concludes Peter.

Lisa’s is one of five new employees across Dacre Son and Hartley’s 19 offices.
