Dacre, Son & Hartley has experienced and professional Residential Letting staff based at 6 key locations across our network of 20 West and North Yorkshire offices.
Branch Coverage
Residential Letting teams are based at our Otley, Harrogate, Keighley, Bingley, and Skipton offices. Each rental office covers the surrounding district allowing maximum coverage of the local area.
What's On Offer
We act as Residential Letting Agents on all types of property from large, detached houses to modern, quality apartments. Properties are available in a variety of village, town, city and rural locations. The majority of properties we deal with are offered unfurnished but, usually with carpets, curtains, light fixtures and major kitchen white goods provided. If you are searching for a property to rent then please email your preferred property type, size requirements, number of family members (and pets), monthly budget, ideal start date and length of lease needed to the rental office covering the location where you want to live - we can then forward to you current property details. Please remember that nearly all the properties Dacre, Son & Hartley acts as agents for are available for an initial minimum period of between six and twelve months due to legal reasons. We can also offer tenants competitive insurance via our link with 'HomeLet', a leading national provider of tenant insurance policies.
Our staff have excellant relations with local, regional, national and international Relocation Companies who place employees for many Corporate and 'Blue Chip' organisations. Over the last few years we have dealt with professional tenants from many well known organisations including Accountants, Advertising Groups, Banks, Building Societies, Chemical Firms, Computer Companies, Food Producers, Financial Service Groups, Hotel Chains, Information Technology Suppliers, Legal Firms, Management Consultants, Media Companies, Medical Firms, Military Staff (including many American tenants working at RAF Menwith Hill), Motor Groups, Manufacturers, Power Suppliers, Premiership and Nationwide League Football Teams, Retailers, Supermarkets, Telecommunications Groups, Television Companies, Utility and Water Providers. If as a tenant you are on a work related relocation package it is helpful if you inform us of this as soon as possible as Dacre, Son & Hartley has approved status with many employers, military divisions and Relocation Companies.
Services For Landlords
For landlords we offer several levels of service form 'Introductory' and 'Letting Only' to comprehensive 'Property Management'. Initial marketing appraisals are provided without obligation. We can provide detailed colour particulars with photographs - these particulars are issued to our extensive mailing list. Viewings of residential properties to let are usually accompanied by a member of our staff. References are obtained to check the suitability of applicants and tenancies prepared by our experienced Letting Professionals. If you need Dacre, Son & Hartley to manage your property then we can arrange rent collection as well as organising maintenance or repairs required once the tenants are in occupation.
Buy-To-Let
For residential investors we can assist in selecting suitable properties and make you aware of good quality modern developments that are becoming available in the near future. 'Buy-To-Let' landlords who have in excess of £250,000 to invest may register their contact details with Paul Milling. Those landlords with less than this sum to invest should register their details and price range with the office located nearest to the geographical district they are interested in. At the same time you should inform us of what size, style and location of property you would consider. If we have any suitable properties at the time the particulars of these will be forwarded to you.
