Wetherby's new manager strikes a chord with homeowners

Yorkshire's leading independent estate agent Dacre Son & Hartley has appointed James Clarke as Branch Manager of its newly refurbished Wetherby office.

James grew up in Collingham and has headed up the company’s Wakefield office for the last six years. He has over 20 years of experience in the property industry.

James says: “This appointment sees me returning to my roots having attended school in Boston Spa and spending most of my childhood in Collingham. My father was a striker at Leeds United in the 1970’s, so it was the ideal place to live because it offered the semi-rural location away from the City, which appealed to many of his team mates at the time and still attracts many professional footballers to the area to this day.”

James will be managing a team of five from the Market Place based office and will be responsible for marketing a wide range of properties covering Wetherby, Boston Spa, Collingham and their surrounding areas.

Paul Baxter, Area Director of Dacre, Son & Hartley, adds: “We are delighted that James will be joining our Wetherby operation. His links with the area and outstanding track record for sales and customer service will enable us to offer the very best service to people looking to market their home.

“James’ appointment follows significant investment in the office which has seen a stunning upgrade of the building that allows properties to be displayed 24 hours a day via state of the art TV screens and an enhanced window display.”

James says: “The office upgrade will assist us to promote properties locally but because we have a vast network of 21 offices, any home that is marketed by our branch will reach a much wider number of prospective purchasers. Our new website, which is mobile compatible, and the fact that properties are listed on over 20 of the most visited property portals, also means that we can target thousands of interested parties both nationally and internationally.”
